アートコレクション作品｜赤松晃年 drawing

京都の大雅堂で開催した個展にて展示された、赤松晃年さんのドローイング作品です。個展に寄せたコメントに村上隆さんが400字詰め原稿用紙11枚分ものボリュームの紹介文を書いたことでも話題になりました。

Mr.さんのスタジオでアシスタントを務めた経歴があり、こだわりを感じる表現の中に女性のカッコよさ、かわいさの両方を感じます。

アート鑑賞のために都内以外へ遠征したのは初で、時間とお金をかけて観に行った分、鑑賞できたときの喜びも大きく、そんなギャラリーでのワクワク感を生活の中でも味わえるのが、コレクションの魅力のひとつだなと感じます。

This is a drawing piece by Akitoshi Akamatsu exhibited at a solo exhibition held at Taigado in Kyoto. The exhibition was also notable for the fact that Takashi Murakami wrote a review that filled 11 pages of a 400-character manuscript paper. You can feel both the coolness and cuteness of women in the expressive work that has a sense of commitment, which comes from the artist’s experience working as an assistant at Mr.’s studio.

This was my first time traveling outside of Tokyo for the purpose of art appreciation, and while it took time and money to go see it, the joy I felt from being able to appreciate it was immense. I feel that one of the charms of collecting art is being able to experience that sense of excitement in your everyday life that you get from visiting galleries.
