アートコレクション作品｜萩原亮 Sitting Cat

陶製のネコの作品です。3Dプリントで出力した雌型を陶土を張り込んで施釉、焼成したもので、生物を捉えられる最小限の線を抽出して制作されています。ネコの特徴を捉えたミニマルな容姿と陶土のあたたかみが掛け合わさり、緩やかな空間にしてくれます。

今回はオンラインショップを通じて購入しました。オンラインでの購入は贋作やコンディションの心配や、実作品をしっかりと観て選びたいというのがあり、あまり使ってきませんでしたが、諸々確認の上、良い縁に繋がりました。

This is a ceramic cat figurine. It was created by applying glaze and firing it onto a clay model made by laminating clay onto a female mold printed by 3D printing. The artist extracted only the minimum lines necessary to capture the essence of the cat’s features. The minimalist appearance of the cat combined with the warmth of the clay creates a gentle atmosphere.

I purchased this piece through an online shop. I haven’t used online shopping much because I worry about counterfeit goods or concerns about the condition of the product, and I prefer to see the actual item before making a purchase. However, after confirming various aspects of the purchase, I was able to establish a good connection.
