アートコレクション作品｜入江早耶 薬魔地蔵ダスト

入江早耶さんによる、薬袋を消しゴムで消して出たケシカスから制作した立体作品《薬魔地蔵ダスト》シリーズです。

制作過程には一度完成したものを消す行為と、本来ならばゴミとして消費されてしまうものを彫刻として価値づけしているようで、今あるもので価値を最大化するという流転を感じます。

2015年の当時学生だった頃に知ってから気になっていた作品で、アートフェア東京2022を通じてコレクションさせていただきました。小柄で生活空間にも飾りやすく、学生の頃に抱いた感情から時間も経過し、作品の見方の変化も楽しんでいます。

This is the “Yakumajizo Dust” series, a three-dimensional work created by Sayaka Irie using eraser shavings from erasing medicine packets.

The production process involves the act of erasing something that has already been completed, and giving value to something that would normally be consumed as waste by turning it into a sculpture. It expresses the transience of maximizing value with what exists at present.

I had been interested in this work since I was a student in 2015 and was able to add it to my collection through Art Fair Tokyo 2022. It is petite and easy to display in living spaces, and I enjoy the changes in my perception of the work that have come about as time has passed since my student days.
